Q: Do Armor All Wipes work as well as the other Armor All products that I normally use?
Armor All Wipes combine the same great products you are used to but in a more easy-to-use format. They contain the same advanced cleaning and protecting agents as you will find in the full line of Armor All products. Therefore, they will perform as well as traditional Armor All products.

Q: How hazardous are bird droppings to paintwork?
Bird droppings can be very corrosive and damage the paint surface if not removed speedily. Modern paint finishes offer no greater protection than older paint processes. Best prevention is to keep a pack of Clean & Shine Wipes in the car and use to remove droppings should they occur (and preferably, don't park under trees!).

Q: Is it airborne grime that makes the inside of my windscreen so hazy?
The film that coats the inside of the windscreen is not predominantly created by air quality inside the car. It is more normally created by particulates that are freed from vinyl dashboard surfaces, which adhere themselves as a thin film on the inside of the glass. Unlike conventional glass cleaners, Armor All Glass Cleaner and Glass Wipes are specially formulated to tackle this problem without smearing.

Q: Can I use Armor All Glass Wipes on tinted windows?
Armor All Glass Wipes are specially formulated for use on
factory-tinted windows. We do not recommend using this product on other types of tinted windows, such as those with plastic tint films.

Q: Can I use Armor All Leather Wipes on leather surfaces including furniture, clothing and car seats?
Armor All Leather Wipes are perfect for use on most leather surfaces, including treated leather furniture, clothing and of course, car seats. Our specially formulated products condition your leather, whether in your car or house, helping to keep your leather looking like new. These products, however, are not designed for use on suede, buckskin or fabric. Due to slipperiness, they should not be used on bench or cycle seats. If you have any doubts about a specific surface, it's always wise to test an inconspicuous area first.

Q: Can Armor All Wipes be used for personal (i.e. skin) cleansing?
Armor All has recently introduced Heavy Duty Hand Wipes for degreasing of tools and also hands. The other Wipes in the Armor All range are for automotive use only.

Q: Can I use Armor All Multi-Purpose Cleaner on leather?
Armor All Multi-Purpose Cleaner is not recommended for use on leather. For leather maintenance, try Armor All Leather Care Gel or Armor All Leather Wipes.

Q: Can Armor All Protectant be used on paintwork?
The Armor All Protectant range has been formulated to clean, shine and protect vinyl, rubber and plastic surfaces. It should not be used on paintwork, nor glass, as it may cause smearing.

Q: Can over-use of Protectant cause damage?
Protectant keeps surfaces looking good and protected from the elements that cause fading and cracking. Surfaces can't become "addicted" to protectants. Using a protectant regularly can keep surfaces looking great for years.

Armor All Car Wash, Armor All Heavy Duty Car Wash and Armor All Wash & Wax are safe on all types of automotive paints and clear coats. Just rinse your car mix concentrate with water, wash and dry for a great spot-free, streak-free shine.

Armor All Car Wash, Armor All Heavy Duty Car Wash and Armor All Wash & Wax are fine for use on vinyl. For tough stains on convertible tops, try Armor All Multi-Purpose Cleaner or Armor All Carpet & Seat Wipes for a quick and easy way to clean your car's fabric surfaces. You can also use Armor All Protectant to clean, protect and shine your vinyl top.

Armor All Car Wash concentrates are most known for their ability to quickly and easily clean your car. These products contain a detergent that is safe on plastic and glass surfaces. If you use the product on household surfaces, including exterior windows and plastic or vinyl outdoor furniture, make sure you test first in an inconspicuous area.

Q: Can I use the Armor All Wheel Cleaners on all types of wheels, including clear coat?
Armor All Wheel Foam and Wheel Cleaner can be used on most types of wheels, rims, covers and hubcaps. The product can be used on wheels with a clear coat, but before using on uncoated aluminum or motorcycles wheels check with the manufacturer. We recommend that you test the product before use on an inconspicuous area. If hazing or spots appear, discontinue use. Do not use on wheels with damaged clear coat.

Q: Why do tires go drab and dingy?
Oxidation in normal atmospheric conditions will in time remove the original lustre and 'blackness' of tyres….aside from the affect of any grime from the road. Tires will also harden as they age which is why, in extreme examples on older tyres, you may see hairline cracks on the outer surfaces of the tyre. Armor All tire care products are designed to help protect against natural degradation and restore appearance.

Q: How long do Armor All tire products take to dry?
Depending on the product, after applying, you can expect Armor All tire products to take from approximately 10 to 15 minutes to thoroughly dry. Please check the package for specific drying information.
